How will filing personal Chapter 7 Bankruptcy as a Sole Proprietor affect our income taxes?

My husband’s business is run as a sole proprietorship. We are considering filing personal Chapter 7 bankruptcy. One of the credit cards we would like discharged was used for business expenses only. can the bailbondsman put him back in jail? He went to court and got everything taken care of but he failed to pay the remaining 75.00 that was owed to the bail bondsman. I do have to agree with Andrea. Having grown up on a farm (sort of) we often ate our pets. It has been a long time since those days. I will tell you this though, you mention food (for lack of a better word) from McDonald's and possibly Domino's, this is not food. It is dead food and it is killing. i filled out my W4 form for my employer and i entered 1 for myself, i am married, and 1 for each of my dependents ( i have four dependents). I need some information bout my custody order dealing with my daughter. Her mother moved to fort worth tx bout 6 months ago (with her boyfriend/now husband i guess) and i still live in el paso tx where the court order took place. Direct TV stole my money! Who can I contact?

We were late on Direct TV and they decided to take money out of every account we ever used without our authorization, and bounced 2 checks in the process. I put in a dispute with the bank, and they credited the account back temporarily. Then I called Direct TV, they confirmed the charges were reversed, and I paid the account in full, including the money they took out without our permission. Then a week later they charged the same account again, which again resulted in an overdraft fee and another charge. I DIDN'T OWE THEM ANY MONEY! Now they refuse to credit my account back the $35 until I show them my bank statements (which means give them my account numbers so they can take money again?). One lady (a supposed supervisor) told me we have a balance due next week, so they can take it if they want to! Anyone know of who I could contact for this (government agency, etc.)? I already tried the bank and they pretty much told me since we have an active account and it isn't free, they can take as much money as they want. Something really isn't right here. I already know the BBB, but their rating is already a D with thousands of unresolved complaints. Any other ideas? By the way, it is not the $35 I am fighting about. It is about the $160+ in fees I had as a result of what they did.

I dreamed my ex boyfriends fiance died the week i was visiting his sister, what does this mean?

My lender keeps throwing up road blocks in my refinance. What can I do?

So I have been trying to refi my house to build a garage. I owe 50k and they said they'll lend 80 percent of the appraised value. First appraisal came in at 85k. Giving me a little less than I wanted but I could swing it. The underwriter kept trying to get the appraiser to knock the appraisal down but they wouldn't so the underwriter ordered a new appraisal. That one came back at 85k and the underwriter said now they'll only loan up to 75 percent of the appraisal or I can get a non-fixed heloc loan for the garage. The whole point was to get one loan at a low fixed rate. Now rates are going back up and the whole summer is almost gone. So if I go to another lender and it takes 30-45 days to close (going on 60 with this bank) that puts me mid August for building it and puts a crunch on time frame. I just want to know if this is legal? If I would have been told ANY of this could happen I would have just went back to Wells Fargo whom seems to still like to finance people with 800 mid scores and 28 percent debt to income. Very long story...so i went out with this kid for just about two weeks before somehow a rumor started that i was cheating on him. I never was and then it was kind of my group against his. Hi my mom has been paying off a car since november 2009 she has paid 538.00 monthly since. Her car cost 20,000 and i recently went online to check to see how much she owes since im the one who pays her bills online and it says she owes 17,000 dollars. I was of course taken aback . I immedietly called honda financial services and was told that she had signed a contract with honda and taken out a Interest loan. which basically means all her money has been going to pay Interest not her actual car. If there is a written agreement in place, signed by both parties and attorney and an amendment needs to be made, is the original agreement completly null & void? Here it is...i had a car, it was not insured 100% coverage, and i had an accident. The fault was 50/50, so the police decided to leave it to our insurance. Here it is...i had a car, it was not insured 100% coverage, and i had an accident. The fault was 50/50, so the police decided to leave it to our insurance. I had none at the time, just liability, so if i crashed the car, i had to fix it myself, well, the car was totalled, and since i am in the us army, i had orders to leave for germany 7 days later! i still owe money on the car, about 5 thousand. So, i couldn't take the car with me, and i couldn't leave it in the side of the street. So, i sold the vehicle to a junkyard. ever since i sold it, i keep paying the car, i pay insurance and i pay the money i still owe, with no miss payments and no problems, except i am in germany and i dont have the car anymore. I feel soo bad about this and i am very scared. I want to pay off the car entirely but im very scared. Bank Of America doesn't know about the accident, i decided to keep it quiet, and keep paying. The car whereabouts are unknown as of today...what do you think of this horrible situation?? Im so nervous about this, that my fingers are shaking....i just want to pay it off and get it over with. Need help with my monthly IRS tax debt payments!?

I have been dealing with the IRS for over 2 months now about my 2009/10 tax debt. They want me to make per month payments of over $400 a month, which I can only afford by cutting out any bill that isn't mortgage, electric, or small living expenses. I understand that I owe, and I am willing to pay, but they are basing these payments soley on the assumption that any extra money that isn't going to a necessity should go to them, for 60 months. How do I make amends to this guy I hurt in the past?

Is there a difference if a collection agency purchased your default debt or if they where assigned to that deb?

i received a notification from a collection agency about a old debt that i am not even sure is mine. i sent them a request to validate the debt to make sure i actually owe this and it's mine( still waiting to hear back). the notice said the collection agents#1 purchased my default account from CHASE and has authorized collection agency #2 to settle on this account. who actually owns this debt. chase? collection agent1? or collection agent 2.. if ends up being my account who do i settle it with?

i know u guys are familiar with this, because i've asked questions on this issue before and i think he's even been on here asking. i've been called a troll, but i assure you that i'm not. ok to recap. my daughter is 22. when she was a senior in high school she got pregnant by this boy. at the time, she was a very straight laced girl. the boy that she got pregnant by was a pot user. well, they ended up parting ways.we have helped her raise the baby. she's will be 4 soon. well, when she was 9 months about, the bio dad stopped coming around, but before he went MIA he petitioned the court for visitiation and he got it. he eventually stopped coming around, never was at home when she had to take him the baby, never paid any child support either. he owes the state about 20k.. it was a battle. he wasn't interested, but his parents were, but we never got any child support, no cards on birthdays, or christmas. we didn't care for him, because he used to be a pot smoker, but visitation was ordered by the court, so we had to let the child see him. well, my daughter ended up with another bad boy and she got strung out on heavy drugs. she's now in rehab and the cyfd placed the baby with my husband and i, because we have helped raise her and the child is stable with us. well, we had a family meeting with the cyfd. this family went in lying, saying we denied them visits. there were times when she was sick, but WE HAD to show doctor's notes. they just stopped coming around. turned out that cyfd let us keep her. we got a lawyer and petitioned the court for guardianship. he's sueing us for custody and suing my daughter for child support... this little girl doesn't know them and WE NEVER denied them visits. NEVER. i'm so worried about this. the cyfd told us that we should go back to the original, court ordered visitation, but this little girl has issues, when i leave her anywhere. she doesn't know these people and i just couldn't let them take her like that. i did tell them that i'd work with them with supervised visits and slowly get her aquainted with them, but they threw a big fit and said that they are her family and they want the original visitation 3 days a week for 2 hours a visit... now they're suing us for custody. i'm so worried about this. thank you. and i promise you. i'm not a troll. thanks.. <3

I may have made a mistake on my state tax return? what should i do?

i filed my taxes in march and in april i received a letter asking for more documents. one of them is a proof of rent paid, but the rent was just cash paid to my mom as rent when i stayed with her, so there was nothing i could send. i just bought my first house last year and did the best i could as far as the tax info etc. but i have never done it before and had no help so its possible i could have made mistakes. i used turbo tax. its now june 15th and i havent received my taxes and my status on my taxes says pending manual review. what does this mean? should i amend my taxes with a tax place or something to make sure they are correct? will i get in trouble if i made mistakes on them? i already received my federal return like 6 weeks ago. the status on my state tax return also says it should be completed july 18th, but im nervous i made a mistake and will get in trouble if i did? any advice?
