Can you still obtain a Stafford loan and Perkin loan if I'm on academic probation?

I was really sick and I missed a lot of school because of my illness even lost my job. I'm going to amend my financial aid by bringing a letter from my doctor and some other documentation. Will I still be eligible for Perkins and Stafford loan after I amend my financial aid even though my GPA is really low, Due to my illness.
